Kelly Services is now seeking experienced Welders at a manufacturing company in Sumter, SC. Hours are M-F 7am-3:30pm. Pay: 15.00 - 18.00 per hour based upon experience. See the Job Description below and apply now if qualified and interested!

Welder - Full Job Description

  • Welds the parts according to the blue print.

  • Checks the parts every 25 of order.

  • Perform welding duties using wire welding GMAW Gas Metal Arc Welding , FCAW Flux Core Arc Welding , or SMAW Stick Welding

  • Weld steel components with welding equipment as specified by procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions.

  • Welds range from simple tacks to complex welds, performed in varying positions.

  • Work includes set-up, laying out work using fixtures and guides to repair, modify, or fabricate parts and/or equipment products.

  • Operate and/or use related equipment and tools which include hoists, slings, grinders portable bench , cutting torches, hand tools, drills, punches, a tape measure, and Air Arc.

  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer s instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs and complete the daily check sheets.

  • Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, blueprints, work instructions, and procedures.

  • Maintain level of work performance in accordance with the company's standards and/or job order specifications.

  • Perform or assist in other assigned duties as qualified.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Education: High school or equivalent

Required Experience: Welding: 1 year Preferred
