The successful candidate for this position has a strong knowledge of supply chain and the procurement processes. They are able to work within a team as well as independently, a passion for continuous improvement, and be the face of QuEST to your customers. Essential Job Functions:
Ability to monitor data and react accordingly to inputs in order to meet production requirements
Release work orders to shop floor material complete to maintain lean flow manufacturing process
Work with demand and forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information in order to provide Supply Chain with appropriate information to allow Purchasing to meet demand.
Perform material transactions as required on a daily basis to ensure units are material complete.
Perform related inventory transactions into the ERP system
Tracks and manages inter/intra-plant work in process (WIP), promise dating, expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and flow
Expedite units and hardware through receiving inspection, final inspection, outline, traffic, and shipping.
Interface with other departments to ensure correct prioritization of product and plant site metrics are met.
Track and drive material orders to completion
Expedite hardware through process to ensure OTD to end customers
Assist factory associates in achieving lead time for end assemblies
Deliver necessary paperwork to factory associates enabling shipping of product
Specialized Knowledge / Skills
Experience or familiarity with the manufacturing of hardware required, electronics hardware preferred
Knowledge of wire harness assemblies or electronics products preferred but not required
Ability to create business correspondences and progress updates using email and MS PowerPoint required
Proficiency manipulating data within MS Excel to create graphs, charts, and tables required
Experience with Business Management Software, ERP, and Databases required; experience with SAP required
Education, Training, and Experience
AS degree in an Engineering or Technical domain (or equivalent experience)
BS degree in an Engineering or Technical domain preferred
3-5 years of supply chain, Manufacturing experience in aerospace
