*What would some of your responsibilities include? *
As a Material Analyst, you will be responsible for various Material Analyst related functions within the facility. Inventory planning, inventory control and system maintenance are all primary requirements for this position.
This position will have primary responsibility for monthly monitoring and planning for reducing inventory levels to coincide with our Healthy Stock initiative.
This position will support the Short Interval Management (SIM) process in accordance with the Schneider Production System (SPS). This requires daily participation in Materials SIM meetings, documentation of barriers as well as barrier resolution.
This position will work with other Material Analyst’s to perform monthly Kanban analysis to ensure proper stocking levels of components for manufacturing. This will include periodic reviews of Order for Order parts to be considered for stocking in Kanban and vice versa.
The individual may be required to participate in daily operations meetings with various other functions of the manufacturing team.
The individual will work with Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing to provide value added lean solutions for material flow and material providing and handling.
This position will play a key role in our yearly physical inventory process as well as inventory positioning and determination of daily production requirements for each product family.
This position will manage FAS, Final Assembly Scheduling, parameters for catalogues.
This individual will be responsible for releasing orders and adjusting schedules to match demand.
Work with suppliers to reduce lead-times and/or costs.
Other duties as assigned.
Do you have these key experiences and qualifications?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Engineering OR Bachelor's degree in other field plus 2 years of Materials experience
- SAP experience is a plus
- Microsoft Excel and Access experience a plus
