Samsung Electronics America Sales and Logistics Scheduler Specialist in Newberry, South Carolina

Position Summary

This position is responsible for sales and logistics. The scheduler should oversee tasks such as responding to customer’s requirements, warehouse management, product-loading efficiency, shipping documentation, on time delivery to customer, logistics cost saving

Role and Responsibilities

  • Check and confirm loading quantities by destination and check buyer requirments when confirming weekly production order

  • Create LID(Loading ID) in system after weekly production order is confirmed.

  • Attend weekly PSI meeting and daily production meeting to check any stuffing and delivery issue

Upon requests, re-arrange stuffing time, truck and delivery schedule/route with logistics partners

  • Monitor daily production and stuffing progress against daily production plan. If any production order is pending, need to make countermeasure with related departments

  • Monitor stock accuracy of finished goods at warehouse

  • Respond to customer’s requirement such as sample set request, inquiry of delivery schedule…

  • Manage logistics partners(on time truck in/out, delivery L/T, capacity, cost)

  • Report KPI(Key Performance Index) on a regular basis. Make countermeasure for low KPI together with the respective departments.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required especially Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management major preferred

  • 0-2 year of work experience in related field preferred.

  • Excellent communication skill(Speaking, Writing)

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office software(Power point, word, excel)

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and maintain work efficiency.
