Description: A Quality Inspector position in Greenville, SC is currently available through Belcan. To be considered for this role, you will have High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of Electrical Technician experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and uphold to high safety standards

  • Maintain acceptable performance standards for assembly, quality, documentation and 5S.

  • Document defects with Andon and/or NCR system

  • Communicate issues back to production associates and management

  • Inspect both mechanical and electrical tasks as required

  • Utilize function testers and other quality equipment

  • Train and provide guidance to production associates

  • Assist with integration of quality processes on the production line

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 4+ years of Electrical Technician experience, preferably in automotive, bus or heavy vehicle

  • Experience with automotive electronic and mechanical systems

  • Hands-on mechanical and high voltage skills (automotive experience is a plus)

  • Strong communication skills within all levels of technical personnel

  • Proficient use of MS Office applications.

  • Proficient with test, measurement and calibrated vehicle equipment (i.e., torque wrench, multi-meter, etc.)
