Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. Inspector - Process Sampling (Recon) in Anderson, South Carolina

  • Visual and functional inspection of product and processes.

  • Maintain inspection records.

  • Appropriate notification of findings.

  • Assure corrective action is taken as needed.

  • Check department gages for calibration; record and report findings.

  • Develop inspection instructions.

  • Perform system audits to assure procedures are being followed.

  • Gathers data to help support continual improvement activity.

  • Perform OOBA in finished product and reworked product.

  • Create and print product ID labels for current and new recon model numbers.


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • One year experience as Quality Assurance Apprentice or equivalent experience in QC field.

  • Computer experience

  • Knowledge of inspections and analysis techniques

  • Familiar with a QMS such as ISO 9001:2008

  • Must possess exceptional mechanical skills.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in math and reading.

  • Must possess physical dexterity sufficient to accomplish required tasks.

  • Must wear specified PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses, etc., as deemed necessary for the safety of operator, coworkers and facility.

  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

  • Must possess cooperative attitude toward coworkers and management.

  • Available to work long hours and weekends, as needed.

  • Adhere to company's quality policy to provide customer satisfaction through high quality products, delivered on-time at a cost that represents value.

  • Adhere to 5S methodology which is to Sort, Set in Order (organize and identify), Shine (clean), Standardize and Sustain (maintain).

  • Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions.
